Roman Przyrowski in Memoriam

Seldom is a man respected so much, by so many.
Roman Przyrowski, co-founder and Executive Vice President of PerifiTech Inc., was such a
man.
Roman passed away on Monday, August 9, 1999, while enjoying one of the only hobbies he
learned to love since moving to the United States from Belgium in 1990: watching American
football. Roman didnt take much time to reward himself from his 12 hour + work days.
But as he left his office for the last time that Monday evening, he was looking forward to
the return of the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football. Shortly after the start of
that game, he was en route to the hospital with chest discomfort. By the time he had
reached the hospital all efforts to revive him from massive cardiac arrest had failed.
Roman began his computer career with Intel Europe. After 10 years in the Intel Engineering
organization, he became Director of Engineering Services for Tecmar/Wangtek International.
Bob Kuchta, who joined Roman to form PerifiTech in 1989.
It was also during his tenure at Tecmar that Roman met his soulmate, Kim Brown. Roman and
Kim were married on July 8, 1996, in a beautiful garden ceremony at the home of Bob and
Trish Kuchta. Romans dream was realized as he moved to the United States. Roman and
Kim bought a home in Ohio and on April 30, 1999 started their family with the birth of their daughter Alexandra Rose.
(Please take special note of the Memorial Fund that has been established for Alexandra
Rose at the bottom of this page).
Our loss is not only personal, but professional as well. Many of you who read this will
particularly understand the impact of Romans absence. The tireless hours spent on
the phone, above and beyond the call of duty, to solve your technical issues, to guide you
through complex procedures that Roman had in his head, the "tricks" he knew
about so many products that the manufacturers themselves had never discovered. The
calls he took at home, on weekends, in the middle of the night, jumping in the car or on a
plane, at a moments notice, because if you had a problem, it became Romans
problem. Without regard to who was responsible, where the product came from, whether it
was a PerifiTech problem or not
Roman felt a strong personal obligation to see it
through to its resolution. It is that intense level of commitment, loyalty, resolve, and
dedication that will be missed most.
It was suggested by one of Romans most respected clients why someone so valuable
would be pulled from his important roles of son, brother, husband, father, and technical
guru at the apex of his short 44 years. The conclusion was that the "Great
Computer-in-the-Sky", the one our Lord uses to track all of us, obviously has some issues
and there was but one man who could handle that responsibility. So, know
you can all feel at ease to know there will be no disasters where it counts the most.
Thanks again, Roman. We all hope to see you again someday. Let the spirit of your
dedication remain with PerifiTech, and all who knew you, until that time.
A trust fund has been established for the benefit of Roman and Kim's daughter, Alexandra
Rose. Contributions and personal condolences may be sent to, "The Roman Przyrowski
Memorial Fund", c/o PerifiTech Inc., 15224 Neo Parkway, Cleveland, Ohio 44128. All
